The world's most advanced networks rely on CommScope connectivity. What to expect We are seeking a Planning and Materials Manager to join the team at our Catawba, North Carolina plant. The Catawba facility is a 24/7 manufacturing operation with one million square feet, manufacturing fiber and copper cable. You will direct and manage the Planning and Materials team for the entire plant. Daily you'll directly supervise a team of Material Planners, Production Planners and Cycle Counters ensuring full utilization of our SAP MRP system. Being an SAP expert will be helpful as you'll improve accuracy of system demand, (forecasts, safety stock levels, kanbans, etc) you'll revise and perfect the S&OP process. You will make an impact by Improving the efficiency of the planning team by improved use of the SAP MRP and planning systems. Improving inventory accuracy through an effective cycle count program. Helping to improve inventory turns and reducing excess and obsolete inventory. Qualifications Bachelor's degree 10 years of experience in planning and materials, including at least 3 years in supervisory or management roles. Experience in manufacturing in a process environment preferred over manufacturing in an assembly environment. Subject matter expert in MRP and planning systems - SAP preferred. Great leadership and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
