Commscope is looking to add a Global Operations Manager to our Network Connectivity team (NCC). This role can be based out of Catawba, NC or Claremont, NC. How You'll Help us Connect The World:
Advise on and implement the business unit's operational activities, strategies, and objectives to ensure the achievement of goals. Take the lead to drive operational improvement activities in support of project teams and project time lines and cost, taking into consideration the team member input. Lead and ensure critical processes within the Business Unit for replication or transferring of product manufacturing, tools, and processes globally. Working closely with internal partners to turn ideas into improvement projects within the constraints of timing, product requirements, profitability, and budget (cost) The Network Connectivity Operations Manager is fully accountable to a functional manager and/or colleagues for these projects. Provide leadership within the project team and assume ownership for execution of development projects per documented procedures and in line with agreements/contracts within the core team and overall business unit strategy. This includes management of all project activities, drive decision-making and executive reporting within agreed timelines. Ensure common understanding within a cross-functional team with regards to objectives and goals. Achievement of all Plant Transfer Process (PTP) guidelines. Influence team members and functional resource managers to get results, recognize team strengths and weaknesses utilizing cross-functional team members to complement each other. Proactively handle cost, service and quality objectives for assigned profit centers. Monitoring of project forecasts and corresponding impact to project justification. Accountable for detailed work plan of each project phase and ensuring completion of agreed upon results by the team. Resolve staffing/resource issues together with functional managers. Track projects per the project scope with executives and internal partners. Lead and mentor project teams in the use of peer reviews, team meetings, requirements workshops and tools to mitigate costs, risks and schedule. Minimize exposure and risk on projects through contingency planning and risk mitigation. Identify key issues and make the best choice of all alternatives with team input. Request and be responsible for the project budgets. Resolve project and functional issues and lead expectations. Advance relevant issues/barriers to management. Required Qualifications for Consideration:
Associate's Degree or equivalency with eight years of strong experience including 3
years in project management or operations leadership OR Bachelors Degree with 5 years of relevant experience including 1
running managing projects or leading operations OR Master's degree with 2
years of experience that includes over one year in leading project or operations Previous exposure to financial data and financial indicators. Consistent record of leading both horizontally and vertically and presenting to all management levels in the organization. The ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain the accurate harmony between meeting the business needs and handling the available resources. Travel up to 40% of the time (including international travel) You Will Excite Us If You Have:
Greenbelt, PMP or other certification program. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with project management applications like Microsoft Project and experience with cost reduction projects and/or working through quality issues. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
