As a Factory Manager, you will exercise direct supervision over our production supervisors within the machine & finishing departments, ensuring production volume, cost, and quality meet our standards. You will collaborate with the Operations Manager to establish shift standards and schedules. Your role will involve collaboration with other department Factory manager to analyzing data, optimize production methods and ensure compliance with organizational policies and budgets.


Key
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to establish shift standards and schedules for production departments.
  • Supervise and support supervisors in achieving production goals and maintaining quality standards.
  • Oversee plant maintenance to ensure facilities are properly maintained for efficient production.
  • Recommend the purchase of new capital equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes in methods or procedures.
  • Drive maximum efficiency and productivity among supervisors and production workers.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and practices.
  • Manage departmental budgets and maintain conformance to budgetary limitations.
  • Prepare and maintain production and inventory reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Forecast labor requirements and recommend equipment and layout changes to optimize production processes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in management or a related field. Will consider experience in lieu of education.
  • 3+yrs of previous experience in a managerial role, preferably in a furnishing environment or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with other Factory managers/ departments throughout the facility
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze production data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
