Manufacturing Lead Associate

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Lead Associate. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION. HOURS ARE MONDAY TO THURSDAY 8:00PM TO 6:30AM
This position is considered a working lead person and will spend 80 percent of the time working and 20 percent of the time performing supervisory functions and associated paperwork. This person reports directly to the Manufacturing Operations Supervisor.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
Leads nonexempt employees involved in production, assembly, subassembly or fabrication operations
Manages the day-to-day workflow of subordinate nonexempt workers
Reviews production schedules, material, and manpower resources for adequacy
Informs assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedules
Works with project team and Quality personnel to meet objectives
Handles unexpected demands and adapts efforts to new situations

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
